Norwegian women’s sportswear seller Get Inspired was launched in 2009 and in just 11 years has gone from a one-person startup based in a garage to a $50 million online retailer.

As a digitally native brand without any physical stores, Get Inspired started on Magento 1 a decade ago and is now one of the top e-commerce sites in Norway.

In 2019, Get Inspired moved Magento 2, to set the company up for further growth through an increased focus on marketing and systems for seamless customer returns.

TRANSFORMING THE COMMERCE EXPERIENCE

The results after moving to Magento 2 have been astounding:

• Total revenue on Magento: $112 million USD (995.77 million NOK) and $40 million USD (355.63 NOK) on Magento Commerce

• YOY growth: 30% after migrating from Magento 1 to Magento Commerce

• Sales growth: Up tenfold in the past five years — and especially after upgrading the eCommerce workflow as part of the move to Magento Commerce
